The Progress is GOOD Challenge

Are you or someone you know making progress in creative ways?

The Progress Is GOOD Challenge is a search for progress makers whose initiatives make things a little bit better.

The Specifics

We are pleased to announce the top ten projects voted by the community:

  • SociaLite
  • Neighborhood Postcard Project
  • Madesmith
  • Every Last Morsel
  • MausHaus
  • Eayikes
  • Red Bread
  • Palates to Palettes
  • Duolingo
  • Lava Mae
  • Progress comes in many forms. It can be unexpected. It can emerge from years and years of work. It frequently comes with little fanfare. At its heart, progress simply means making things a little better. And both GOOD and Progressive believe stories of progress deserve attention, appreciation, and support.

That’s why GOOD and Progressive have teamed up to create the Progress Is GOOD Challenge. We will be celebrating one progress-maker with a custom GOOD video to gain the fanfare he or she deserves--because people who make the world even a little better ought to get more than a little fanfare.

We’re looking for innovative and forward-thinking individuals with unexpected stories who make progress with their work. You don’t need to own a company with 100 employees--you don’t even need to own your own business. What counts is your story: Help us inspire others to support progress and drive our world forward.

Are you or someone you know making progress in creative ways? Submit your story today.

Submissions are open from March 17 at 12 p.m. to April 4 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time. Need some inspiration? Check out stories like yours at Progressive's Apron Project.

Soldiers Angels Calvary Chrisitan School
I run a soldiers on active duty community service. Every grade from Kindergarten to 8th grade send 25 boxes to a troop in Afghanistan every month throughout the school year. The kids pack boxes full of supplies the soldiers request, personal hygiene, comfort foods, protein bars, candy, tea & coffee. Socks and hand Warner's are a hot favorite. The kids write letters to them thanking them for their service and for keeping them safe. We also teach the kids about Afghanistan, where it is, the landscape, the people and culture. The kids learn that every soldier is trying to help build a better more stable country. We are all working towards making the world a little better. Educating kids, supporting soldiers and in the act of giving it makes us all value the world we live in.
